The challenge
Stella brought the TMS team on board because they wanted to encourage Aussie tennis lovers to take advantage of the ‘Bonus Gift Pack’ they had on offer in Dan Murphy’s during the 2020 Australian Open.
The TMS solution
If you’re keen on the tennis (or if you’re a Melbourne local) you’ll know how busy the area around Melbourne Park becomes during the Australian Open. We decided to leverage this foot traffic and capture the attention of thirsty sports fans who were out for a day of excitement at the final match between Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem.
We activated our trusty fleets of scooters and bikes, placing them in proximity to the local Dan Murphy’s store and along the popular travel routes to the arena. We placed posters on the bikes and scooters letting the crowds know about the special offer and also displayed convenient maps that guided them straight to the nearby Dan Murphy’s.
